Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24/06/2026
This policy explains how Vinail collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the website vinail.net and the Vinail nail-salon software. We respect your privacy and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Scope
This policy applies to website visitors, owners and staff who use Vinail. For end-customer data entered by a salon, the salon is the data controller and Vinail is the data processor acting on the salon's behalf.
2. Data we collect
Account data: name, username, email, phone, salon name and address.
Operational data created by the salon: turns, internal receipts, payroll calculations, expenses and customer details entered by the salon.
Payment data: payment is made via PayPal or bank transfer (VietQR). We receive transaction confirmations but do not store full card numbers.
Technical data: system logs, IP address, device type and cookies necessary to operate the service.
3. Purposes of processing
Providing and operating the service, sign-in, processing the subscription payment, customer support, security and fraud prevention, and improving the product.
4. Legal bases
We process data on the basis of: performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interest (security, product improvement) and your consent where required by law.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored in a data centre in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We encrypt data in transit (TLS) and sensitive data at rest.
Each salon has separate data at the database level (double protection), important changes are logged, and closed receipts are tamper-proof.
6. Sharing with third parties
We only share data with providers needed to operate the service: server infrastructure in the EU and payment services (PayPal). These partners process data under contract and to security standards.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep the sign-in session and remember your language choice. We do not use cross-site advertising tracking cookies.
8. Retention
We keep data for the duration of use and as long as required by law (e.g. commercial/tax retention obligations). After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, data portability (export) and to withdraw consent.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
10. The salon's customer data
The salon is responsible for the end-customer data it enters (marketing consent, service history). Vinail provides tools for the salon to export and delete customer data on request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify on the website or in the app.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, contact: [email protected].
